I'd been watching my score all week according to that 7.69, I was on the border for most of the week: Low point - 173 votes: 7.6416. High point - 23 votes: 8.3478. I was at a 7.69 for most of the final day, but the last 10 votes/bumps realed me into a ending score of 7.7459 (244 votes), adjusted to a 7.764 final score.

brilliant shot of course!
Altough I have run with camera and tripod before (my Solitude shot was taken on a run back from being dropped off at Haystack), I didn't have a tripod this time, just my f717 in the camera bag clutched in an arm (alternated from time to time), and a slow-moderate pace. It does turn into a walk when I am shooting though =). I am training for Track season, but my passion for photography and love of running conflict. So this was is my temporary solution (in the future, I'd like to get a small camera that I could run more easily with though).

Thank you all for your votes and wonderful comments, I was not expecting to have this photo do so highly. This is simply the a view of the glory of creation.

Ansel Adams once said Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter. I believe that I'm here to capture God's glory and share it with others. So I hope you enjoy =)

Wow, I like how this photo shows the essence of the existenstinial being. It shows the search we all have for the truth that lies in the core of our souls if we had to time to stop and find it.

Well, interesting shot, I can't really see anything defined, but it is a different take on this challenge.

Sure doesn't look like Saturn to me, course I've never been on Saturn, so I wouldn't know. Was there some secret mission that the USA Gov. doesn't know about that you were able to photograph saturn and submit it to DPC.

Awsome shot, nice play of foreground and background.

Awsome walkway. I wouldn't recommend using a flash in this condition though. Maybe if you had a tripod and were about to get a little longer exposure to light up the pillars. Cool catch.
