I think this photo would have much more impact if you used a white table (or just a white sheet), and with a more uniform lightning on the cup.
Still, I like the sharpness of the coffee. Good photo! (8)

I am a little biased as I love minimalist photos, but I think that's really a great shoot. Great contrast, nice reflection and optimal positioning of the cup.

I like the concept, but I see room from improvements: the photo is slightly tilted (without any apparent reason), the burst of light on the left is quite annoying, and the glasses seems to be a bit dirty.

Original shoot, and the sunglasses add a lot of "coolness" to the photo. I can't really understand the background, though. I'd try a more regular pattern in the background (a brick wall, f.i.)
