Usually, these shots get a yawn from me but this has more going for it than just another bubble. Terrific tonal range and angle give it a life beyond bubbledom - like something incomprehensible emerging from the cosmic glue.

Appropriate timing during the Tour de France. Gets us close to the machinery of the sport that we mere spectators do not appreciate and gives us a sense of the mechanical stresses that sometimes go wrong.
