Lipsby FocusPointComment: The lighting has caused the line of the left side of her nose to almost disappear and blend into her face which is a shame, as otherwise this is a really pretty portrait with nice focus on the bold lips (looks like a proper make-up artist might have been at work here?) Since this is an advanced editing challenge, I'd have suggested you burned back in the nose line very delicately. |

Fezzik's eyesby KfirLevAriComment: The challenge did say a PERSON's defining feature so I imagine you're taking some flak for this one. It is a generally nice pic of a very beautiful cat, although the blown-out window frame is a bit eye-grabbing. Shooting him through the glass has made the focus a little bit less sharp than it could have been. |

Little Destroyerby etkgocComment: This would have been so much better shot from the other side so we could see her expression, as it is there isn't any connection between her and the viewer. The downward angle is fine but we can't even see feet or anything at all of her to help viwers connect with the shot, it could be a coat around a pointy rock for all we know, lol. Nice focus on the coat though and I like the title. |

It's all about the hair...by KelliComment: This kinda looks like a snapshot of some friends going to a punk rock club, albeit good for a snapshot. The guy in the background there enhances that snappy feel and also feels like maybe not much thought has gone into composition. I'd personally have much rather seen a singular shot of one of them (maybe under some moody lighting to suit their look) with the main focal point on the hair. |

Smiling Eyesby BrianRComment: The light is a bit flat, I'd have boosted the levels; the colours could also do with being raised a little to help make the image pop a bit more. Nice smiley shot though. |

Focusby adelezcoeurComment: I assume your meaning is that she is a focused person? Without the title I would never tell what defining feature you're trying to portray. It's a good enough portrait, her eyes are sharp and it's nicely lit, although that single green earring kind of draws my eye a bit. |

doggie daddyby skewsmeComment: Not sure I like the processing, it looks almost like a painting filter at some parts. Very cute little dog though. |

Lips and nose of a double reed playerby jnenvirComment: Could have been an interesting shot of a face with character, shame it's out of focus, I think it would have been Ok in focus and sharpened up, maybe in b&w as well so we could focus on the lines and textures. |

Hand like appleby basComment: I'm not sure I get this one, the person's hand has nothing 'apple' about it. Seems like a title meant to be clever because there's an apple product in the shot but it doesn't actually fit at all. Overall, a little grainy and could do with being brightened up a bit. |

my eyeby DarkpixelComment: It's an impressive macro, especially considering the subject is yourself but I have to say, the close-up details of an eyeball really freak me out with all the little blood vessels and things. Aesthetically, such detail makes me not want to view the image again. |
