I really like this. I suppose a rubber glove isn't a balloon per se but I like the idea anyway, good bokeh to blur the messy branches, the dull background colours make the purple really pop. Very cool shot.

I guess the harsh reality subject matter didn't appeal to the masses; in an 'emotional' or 'gritty' challenge, this would have ribboned. You were absolutely robbed in my opinion.

I'm not keen on the crop here, not much need for the trees up the top half, I'd have rather seen this in landscape format so the right-most boy's arm and foot weren't cropped off. Good DOF. The light makes me wish it was in colour though, as the little bit of backlighting on the boys looks like it would have nice warm tones.
