Vegetable & Mineral - Leaf & Rustby tvsometimeComment: I like very shallow depths of field, nicely done there. I like the colours and textures of the rust. Not majorly interesting to me (personally) as a whole but it's a nice shot. |

Seams and Stilettos by tangueraComment: I'd have maybe cropped down from the top just a smidge, to lose that sliver of leg. Otherwise, I really like this; very amusing and nicely shot, what an adorable dog. Good light too. |

Marshmallows + Hershey's + Gram Crackers = Mmmmmby MinsoPhotoComment: Good DOF, nice bokeh on the fire there, for me it makes a nice addition that we can see the fire that melted the marshmallows. Good focus on the crackers in front. I can't say the snack appeals to me, haha but overall I like this shot. |

Beach and a Tanby NeatComment: I really like this shot, it's quite peaceful, nice texture of the sand on skin too. My only criticism would be that his head is quite block-black right on top, a little more light on there to catch some more detail of the hair would have been good. Very nice shot overall though. |

Pen and Paperby karmatComment: Nice focus and DOF, looks fine technically and certainly fits the challenge; it's just not a very interesting subject for me personally, as it is. Perhaps a more colourful pen like a bright felt-tip would have brought a little more pop to the shot. |

Heaven & Earthby Bear_MusicComment: Beautiful sky. The person's jacket is quite eye-grabbing though, I think I'd have desaturated the orange/red coat or waited for them to leave; this image is pretty enough with the title without a person in there. |
