DiFFERby hannekeComment: She looks a lot like Mariah Carey when she was young. Love this type of b&w shot, the outfit and hair are really great. I love her expression. |

Garden Variety Border Collieby RistyzComment: I'm not normally impressed with pet portraits generally but this is really pretty. Photographing her/him in the garden provides an attractive, interesting setting, as opposed to a blank background and shot of only the face. The colours of the flowers are lovely too. |

Balloon Fettishby bjuicephotoComment: I think the shot would've been fine without the vignette. The crop is maybe a touch tight on the bottom. I love the idea itself and the blue theme works well, especially with that bright blue sky. |

And though dead thou art now, Thine having been will always be.by JeniYComment: I really love the spotlighting on him. I would have moved some of those leaves though, especially the one obstructing his face. I understand though that his eyes may not have been in the most attractive condition, since the eyes start to degrade quicker than their bodies. Anyway, the leaves do bring a wee bit of colour to the shot. I love the title, very poetic. |
