Slices of Lightby AllenPComment: This is a simple yet pleasing shot. I like the bit of shading you've left, keeping this as a duotone instead of a bw. One of my top pics. |

Full Moonby rajronComment: Best moon shot I've seen in the challenge so far, and probably will end up being overall. I'm biased towards areas bereft of...well... everything, but this is just a great use of openness. I love how despite the small size of the moon, and the vastness of the scene, I am still perfectly directed. Very nice, great job. |

The bokehs are the clue..by jazul02Comment: I'm of the opinion that a photo should say everything in and of itself, and any insufficiency in this regard should be seen as a detraction.
The lighting feels a little flat, and the arrows have the perverse effect of pulling me away from the model due to their brightness and placement instead of directing me towards her. |

Pencil points in focus.by Bill666Comment: I don't personally feel as though this embodies the challenge well. There are many items competing for my attention, nothing holding it sufficiently. |

Night Trainby Mwilton111Comment: I feel a DQ coming on, and I think that vignette is a strong part of what centers us on the engine, too. The tree is too divergent from the subject for me. |

Paradise Lockedby Covert_OddityComment: I certainly like the idea of this. The strength of what is really the most insignificant part of the landscape, commanding the rest and the viewer too... nice usage. |

Shot Tower Museumby supanovaComment: I'm pretty sure this locale has been used a good deal before. In any case, I liked it then, and I like it now. Radiating lines, plus the windows and shadows... all of them lead us up. The yellow sign adds a bit of a counterpoint, bringing us to the bottom, but always to return upwards, drawn. |

Path to Zenby dswannComment: The blossoms command my attention too much, seemingly contrary to your title. |

Reaching for the Starsby darnokComment: Surprisingly clean image considering you must have been cranking the ISO to keep your shutter duration short enough to keep your stars from trailing. Cool scene. |
