Budding Artistby ARMphotoComment: Now, I might be wrong, but methinks the frenetic pace of the coloring isn't helping that whole "color inside the lines" thing.
I could easily see this as a stock photo. |

Sorbetby BalkoComment: The lines in this remind me of feathers, or perhaps petals on a flower. This is suffciently blurred to be interesting and not so much that it's a mess. Great job. |

Missed Me =Pby PBJComment: Hahahaha. Maybe there was some credence to the thread about matches becoming the next water drop.
Those burned matchheads have a pretty interesting texture, somewhat akin to furry brains, whatever that means.
The question, of course, is whether the single match remaining was purposeful or serendipitous. |

Bisonby teacherphotoComment: The lighting is a bit garish, and could use some softening. |

running waterby ursulaComment: If I were you I surely would have had a hard time deciding to place this photo in the 1 sec exposure challenge vs. the abstract motion. The lines are so smooth it almost looks like a painting. Nice variety of hues in the water, as well. |

Sitting Stillby raishComment: Not sure if I like the semi-transparent border- it's a bit distracting.
Also, and yours is certainly not the only one, but using a one second exposure has added nothing to the actual photo for me. In my mind I'm not requiring movement, and the fact that it was a one second exposure doesn't need to be drilled home, but simply taking a photo and lowering your iso/stopping down to achieve a 1 sec exposure seems slightly shoehornish. Perhaps you are illustrating how lazy cats are. And now I'm rambling. Back on track- the scene seems a bit cluttered and undecided...there are clothes in the background, a psychadelic 70's chair that demands attention, a giant fur pelt, and a cat staring you in the eye, all vying for the viewer's focus. |

Wind farmby edmengComment: I like the composition of this- specifically the line of the wind generators, which leads to the base of the mountain, which draws your eyes back up to the top of the image. Maybe a little higher contrast, but I like it the way it is too. |

Swirlsby MarjoComment: This looks a tad grainy but I really enjoy the fluidity of all the curves. The twisting purple against the black backdrop is really pretty neat. |
