While I'm sure you love this photo on a personal level, the lighting, focus, and composition are just not strong enough to really sell this photo beyond the family/friend level. One of the hardest things I think we all have to deal with is trying to find a way to make our personal favorite photographs appeal to the masses in a competition of this nature.

I remember this being quite the favorite in your portfolio (and on the forums), and it's a relly nice impromptu portrait, but for some reason, it just never resonated with me personally.. however, technically it's about as strong as they come. I wonder if people subconciously connect with the "jesus" look? I dunno. :)
