Crossingby AndelainComment: Nice lines and light play here. Would probably look much better as a larger photo. |

Onionsby ajschelComment: Interesting use of shallow DOF, but the focal point is a little unstable. Hard to really grab on to with the eyes, and the effect is that the whole photo seems to just be OOF. |

Serenityby TooCoolComment: A decent sunset, but nothing that I would say puts it above the pack. I like the tree, but the foreground silhouettes are just a little busy. |

Under the Old Oak Treeby Studio18Comment: A little *too* contrasty for my tastes here.. it's a great vantage point, but I just don't like the presentation, personally. |

Horsetail Fallsby LucidLotusComment: Nicely done, with one exception. The light on the falls is just a little too bright. You lose definition there, and it looks more like a giant streak of eraser brush on white canvas than water-flow. |

Pride Lurking in the Shadowsby CarmelynnComment: I'm not big on the shadow across the cat's face, personally. It doesn't add any real element as presented.. perhaps if it was halfway across, and deeper.. |

Memory of the pastby PippiComment: Not a horrible landscape, but it is certainly lacking something to really make it shine. The saturation of the colors is a little strong IMO as well. |

Monopolizing the Electronsby M.O.C.Comment: Great lighting capture. We don't get enough storms in our neck of the woods for it to be possible to capture anything like this, and when we do, the strikes are hidden by mountains.
I'd love to go to the midwest sometime (or Alberta), and capture some though. |

New Year's eve - 2005by burtctComment: Nice sunset. The sun-rays add an element to this that lifts it over over more static sunsets I've seen. |
