The Phoneby stupidcatComment: Gee.. someone talking on the phone for a communication challenge ;)
Nice shot. I like how your lighting is actually not "perfect", as it contributes to the feel of someone lying by their bedside lamp. Nice clarity. Composition is ok, but not *great*.. She just seems to be up too high, and the bed post is kind of distracting to me. |

A Trellis of Speakers at an Outdoor Concert Hallby flip89Comment: Very dynamic shot. Looks like you had a polarizing lens on, or you simulated on in post. The dark blue of the sky helps bring out the lines of the structure, and the fall colors in the background are really nice. Now if you could just magically make the people disappear, you could have a *really* nice stock photo ;) lol. Good job, and good eye. |

Yestredays News; Today!by kevrobertsonComment: The woman in the foreground turns this from a photograph, into a snapshot. She's distracting, and doesn't contribute to the theme or the composition. Another angle showing more of the vendor would have really helped as well, as the clarity and lighting on him, and the booth, is nice. All of this is, of course, just my opinion. |

Honey, I'm Pregnant !by quarxComment: A little young aren't they!? haha.. nice expression. A little soft on tthe faces, and the lighting seems a touch hard, making it more "snapshotty" than otherwise. I like the humor though. |

Commo check...by jeeptuningComment: We should all be so lucky to be privvy to a communications room :) Nice shot, but a little soft, losing detail. |

Slow postby apboltComment: Unfortunately, while I like the idea, the background you have here is far to distracting and cluttered. I realize you may have been going for a candid, natural moment, but for me, I just can't concentrate on what is trying to be communicated here. The foreground is also pretty soft, which doesn't help distinguish it from the clutter. |

Letter from Grandma Mass.by MichelleSComment: Nice concept. The "degenerative" effect on this shot really works for me, and the DOF is awesome. The lighting, while harsh, seems to work. Just that top right corner that detracts a bit, but not too much.. Good work. |

The Universal Language of Screamingby diegomcnamaraComment: Perhaps the most successful way that babies communicate, lord knows I get my fair share. This is a nice shot. The face is a little soft, it looks like the camera back focused onto the towel, which is unfortunate. Lighting is good, but you could have used another source on the right side. She's (I assume, the shirt looks feminine), a cutie though, so I have no doubt you'll keep practicing :) |

helpby nlghttrainComment: very disturbingly fun concept. I like the red, gives the impression of blood. An improvement for me on this shot would have been "blood like" rivulets sliding down the glass from the bottom of the letters. |
