Dude on a Combine....by Dallas_TXComment: Good subject and nice action with the dust.
The green trees contend, in my mind, with the tan/brown grains in the foreground, the red tractor and the blue sky. I think that if you could catch the tractor out in open ground so that the trees were not in the photo, you would concentrate your message more. I also would like to see a shot from a lower perspective; perhaps just over the top of the wheat, showing the tractor as a looming entity in the picture. Just some thoughts. Overall, I like it. |

Country Summerby mjasrComment: This picture catches my attention. My initial reaction when it loaded was "country summer?" How so?
Upon looking again, the mobile irrigation system in the background sets the rural tone. Growing up in south and traveling to see family in south Georgia or vacationing in Florida I have often seen settings so close to this in the dry, hot southern Georgia peanut, cotton or soybean fields that this image evokes memories.
The tire swing in focus in the foreground threw me at the start but for anyone that's endured a hot summer here in the south, the only thing missing from this photo is the gnats.
Technically I would like the see it cropped a little smaller with a little less grass in the foreground but your composition and editing are very good. |

Hillside Barnby buzzrockComment: Nice subject.
Great separation of colors with the blue sky, red barn and green grass. The building in the background seems anomalous. I'd like to see this shot from other angles. The black barn roof and the white trim/fence define color areas. The shadow on the front corner of the barn dilutes the power of the distinct regions of color. I think this might have worked with a shot from farther to the left and crop out the end of the barn with the shadow; thus yielding blue sky in the upper left, green (althouth not verdant) grass in the bottom left and the red barn at the right side of the picture. |

Polishby progersctComment: Most definitely one of my favorite subject matters. The light reflections off the bracelets and the sandal straps emphrasizes the liquidity of the polish.
Personal note, great model. |

What water must seeby GiusoundComment: Very interesting perspective. It seems to miss the point of the challenge. All-in-all, I like it. |

Refracted Honeyby shareinncComment: I can definitely see the artistic value of this picture based on the warmth of its color and the contrasts between the light lines and the dark corners. It doesn't demonstrate liquidity to me though. |

Relocatedby ToddhComment: Wow. The action around the outside of the picture is grounded by the solid impression that the liquid stream lends to the center of the image. This is a fantastic demonstration of utilizing one color almost exclusively. Great composition for this challenge. |
