Pinch As Seen From Inside Skinby wetlandComment: Intriguiging. I see not only the actual fingers through the nylon (my assumption) but also a pair of lips. I think this photo should be put out to more communities than this one to get feedback as it is interesting on several levels. |

Tower and Cantelever: Engineering Magicby hughletherenComment: Good idea and subject but you could have shot it from a different angle so that the visual representation reinforced the knowledge that this is a 90 degree angle. In the photo it seems to be an obtuse angle. The other horizontal lines are leaning as well (light poles and building). I gave a decent score for your creative idea - 6 |

Gymnastographyby rll07Comment: The bright area in the top right corner detracts attention from the 90 degree angle of the subject. Still, I scored this fairly high for its adherence to the directions while giving an organic feel - 7 |

Red Angleby ColeyComment: Creative but even moreso, well composed. Your idea is intriguing but the manner in which you chose to compose it commends this picture and your skills. The red against the brown planks gives an off center point of interest and cropping both the planks on the left and bottom of the image and the top right corner so that they run off the image yields a particular feel to the image. 8 |

Bishop Going Downby bruster54Comment: Because of the lighting reflecting so strongly off the chess pieces and the directions for the challenge were that the right angle(s) was to create the strength of the image I don't see this as a strong entry. A softer light or lighting the board from behind might help the right angles to define the photo moreso than they currently do. 5 |

Interlockedby e301Comment: Challenging interpretation. It commends itself for continued scrutiny. The red background and the strong light from the left are impressive accompanists to the right angle that the forks create. I don't like the texture and shadow created in the red just below the juncture of the two forks nor am I crazy over the intense heat of the light off the topmost tine but all-in-all this was a creative idea and you pulled it off well. I'm interested to see how it does on DPC. My vote - 8 |

Right Angles in Timeby hcljsComment: Creative shot. The right angles of the hour and minute hand are accentuated by the 30 degree plus angle of the second hand at the bottom of the watch face. Choosing to shoot the watch at an angle like this and with a reflection adds to the composition. Good use of depth of field to bring the eye to where you want it focused. The main detraction I see is what I assume to be window glare along the top of the watch (just between the 12 and 1). The bright lights in the reflection behind the watch could be toned down in PS, too. |

Solanumby RobinkaComment: Great texture but the angles just make me feel like they're not exact. Of course that probably contributes to the organic ethos of this composition. The lighting is just a little strong in the top right corner but its very close to perfect on the bottom piece. Creative interpretation. |
