Life is everywhereby Pep VentosaComment: Great subject, nice composition. I like the choice of a portrait look at this with the vines and the bricks in contention because of their lateral nature. This would garner a top score from me except for the lack of definition in the highlights at the top of the image. A little too much light on the red leaves washes out some of their details. I'd love to see this shot after you played around and burned in some of the red leaves just a little. Once again, good choice of subjects and great choice of artistic presentation with the portrait cropping. |

Life - Changable as Cloudsby MikaelComment: Creative approach to the challenge topic. I like the balanced lack of symmetry. The two hillside silhouettes at the bottom of the photo offset each other and I like the small fringe of darkness across the middle at the bottom of the photo. Good range of colors and textures in the clouds, too. |

life.....it's all about friendsby larimarieComment: Good subjects but its ironic that all the dogs are looking up while one of the children is looking down and one is looking away. Good ambient light but if this was cropped a little closer on both sides and the top the odd shadows wouldn't be as noticable around the plants. |

Jonathan Livingston Seagullby BobsterLobsterComment: I like the color and the silhouettes of the birds but I think it would have been more moving to only see one bird. I like the clouds slightly below the horizontal middle. The lens flare works in this composition. 6 |

life at it's peak!!!by jamberilComment: This photo suffers from poor composition with the lines between the board at the top of the image and the oblique line at the bottom left in seeming contention with the parallel lines in the tiles on the floor. The focus is soft and the lighting is sporadic across the whole image. The photos is definitely a snapshot of life but it is not a great composition. |

On Gossamer Wings..by moodvilleComment: I see an artistic attempt. The heart and wings are creative and the textured background works well with the basket's frame and the smooth, featureless wings. I don't like the objects (straw, twigs, ???) at the bottom of the composition. The lighting is good but without a little fill light from the left, the shadow of the basket wire obscures the left-most wing. |

Smily Eyes by JackoComment: Congrats, Jacko. Even with a new boy here you are showing us all how to do it.
Good job and great photo. |

Charlotte's Webbby kim100878Comment: Light is too hot and the image is too busy with the web. Perhaps a smaller depth of field and focusing on the spider through the web would have changed this photo for the better. |

Waspby fsieradzkiComment: Light is a little harsh, the focus is a little soft and I'm not sure about the dept of field. Good subject, though |
