From your comment, it seems you dont realise that this is a hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus), and is in the same order (Diptera) as houseflies and fruit flies, rather than the bees-wasps-ants order (Hymenoptera). A wasp on the wing would be *really* hard to capture, as they dont hang about and spend hardly any time at all at each flower. Congrats on a top 10 place.

Nah, mine is better, and my bird has nicer hands, and she can actually play the piano (dont kid me that hands that close together are actually playing a tune), and my title wasnt the name of a rather ugly British Leyland rust bucket from the 70's/80's, and I used colour, and I used a better angle, and, um, thats all I can think of right now.
