Slide into 2nd Baseby bobnospumComment: Originally posted by markwiley: Very nicely done, Bob. I had the other college baseball entry, and I can tell you I found catching the action around the bases very challenging. |
Yes. I loved your shot. So hard to time it right even with lots of fps. I had a sneaky suspicion that it may have been a foul ball, but you titled it "Contact", not "Home Run" so it is fine with me. |

Pucker Upby glad2badadComment: Love the colors and the angled composition. The narrow DOF is somewhat distracting as it goes sharp/soft/sharp/soft looking from left to right. |

Instar by kanajComment: Great photo. The DOF helps with the soft feeling of the fuzzy parts. Border is a bit much and detracts from the image. |

The Chase by vawendyComment: Bird photographing is so frustrating and yet so rewarding. You have caught a wonderful moment here. Yes the birds are turning away from you and the greenery snuck in at an odd angle, but still lovely. |

The Long Tomorrow by HauxonComment: Love the composition with the water/sky/mountain. The structure adds an anchor which is nice, although I wish you had a way of viewing it so that there was more separation between it and the the shore. I also wonder what an even longer exposure would have done to really make the clouds streak. |

Before the Dayby kanajComment: Love the leading line out to the distance with the runner going on forever. Somewhat more of a bleak scene than a serene one with the harsh white areas. |

Stillnessby KristjanUnnarComment: I love the framing here with the ducks/horizon/mountain. It is very quiet and serene photo except for the somewhat loud red ball. |

I think this game in particular had very little action for the first 6 innings. Then had 6 or 7 runs scored after that. So it can be hit or miss. |

Sharp end of the Catby VuurVliegieComment: Love and B&W tones here. Wish that the claws were more visible. I think the toy/plant foreground object is not as strong an element as the cat and wood are. |
