Lovely shot. I wonder if the crop were less tight, if the spoons would command all that attention? They are kind of overwhelming in this tight of a crop.

If there were drops on the glass it would look more natural to me. Now, upon seeing it I ask myself why there aren't any drops on the glass and the answer I get is; they were placed there. Other than that it is a beautiful capture and the lighting is superb, good diffusion.
I also understand the art side to this and that maybe you did every thing possible to not let a darn drop get on your glass because that's what you wanted. So forget my comment if that's the case. phew, that was a mouthful.
All the same you get a 9 from me for execution and detail.

Good detail on the green moldy stuff. This spoon looks like an antique. I like the bg too, makes it all feel antiquated, like old wall paper.

That yellow greenish reflection on the right side is distracting. There must have been something lying near by when you took the shot. Also, the washed out highlight on the knife is distracting as well. I would have liked a little more sharpness on the bug. Good idea. Must have took some time.
