Free Study of a Masterby Mr_PantsComment: Lol Nice going there Mr.P. I like the post in this shot. Fits with the brick bg and that grungey feel I'm getting from this shot. |

end of summerby GordonComment: I'm surprised to see this bokeh from a Canon product, or is it? You didn't list your lens and I'm thinking this was not a Canon lens. Please tell. |

Style in High Keyby JuliBocComment: Very well done high key. People judge high keys very differently but this is a very good attempt at it and shouldn't have gotten such a low score. Her nose comments are laughable, we see enough of it to imagine the rest. Remember Monroe's line about the head being cut off in a close up? 'People know he has one...' I think it applies here.

Just Meby freakin_hilariousComment: How dare you! j/k
MAK and ES are simply wrong in saying what they have. Naughty naughty fellas.
Nathan, did you think about incorporating the fact it was a pinhole image in the title or by other means? I'm sure it would have radically changed your score. I understand the fact you didn't though, but on the other hand, this is DPC. Or maybe you thought only master voters would vote in this one. ;] Nonetheless a great shot but I'm saying that based upon knowing the facts about how this was taken, not the final result. Last pinhole shot I analyzed was maybe 35 years ago when I last tried it. eheh |

Green Bambooby tamatamaComment: I love the use of smooth cylindrical shapes to bring out the long hard vertical lines. Lovely image. |

Lonelyby googooliebaba_mComment: How many have told you that they would prefer to see this straighter than it is? Parallel. ;]
I like it as it is and wonder if more of an angle would enhance it. I'll have to try that one day. I keep re-looking at this shot because this is what I love about photography, simplicity and it's power to make one gaze and gaze again, very satisfying image to me. Well done. |
