I really like the composition and the subject however I'm not crazy about the background choice and think the milk is just out of focus a tiny amount ... that said I still think this is a good picture and will do well

The sharpness, DOF and reflection are all fantastic, the colours(!) are all very prominent and really stand out well, I'm going to have to come back and find out what you used for the base.

I like the angle you have chosen however the image doesn't really stand out to me ... I find the twig at the top a little odd, I guess it's meant to be there .... may have worked better if the words had stood out more though the fact the stone is nearly 200 years old would make that hard to correct! Maybe a flash would have cast a shadow to make the words stand out

Nice focus on the eye and good reflection but the rest of the image just seems to "messy" to me, it's not quite in focus and not quite out of focus enough ... maybe a larger aperture would have helped to blur the background and isolate the eye more

The focus is good and the DOF is good but I don't find the picture stands out enough ... maybe if the base could have had more of a reflection (not really possible I guess) or the top didn't look a little grubby

I see what you have done, a black and white picture in amongst colour pictures, clever .... but I find it a bit too cluttered, my eyes are jumping all over the image trying to find what I am supposed to be looking at ... I think the note on the left is a bit distracting and grabs my attention more than the other photos
