P&S Challenge 2by MelonMusketeerComment: Very nice tranquil scene, lovely colours. I like the framing on the right.
It is a little noisy and as a test as I have no specific noise software myself I installed the noise ninja plug in and the Neat Image plug in and both produced very impressive results on your photo and a quick shot from my camera at 1600 ISO! The Neat Image was a slightly better result in both cases (just using all the default settings) and it is free for non commercial use on images less than 1024*1024. |

olddoor.jpgby sulamkComment: I don't hugely dislike the photo, but I don't find anything that catches my eye, sorry. I think maybe it could be made more interesting if the angle was different rather than straight on, or maybe from shooting down low, it all seems a little too lined up. |

P&S Day 2 - Purple Gallinuleby JuliBocComment: That's a really nice photograph, the colours of the bird, the dof, sharpness of the bird and branch are all fantastic. As for noise, I certainly don't notice any |

picklesby icu1965Comment: I like the capture of the dog in the air, though the lack of sharpness on the dog bothers me a little, the baseball shot is much better IMHO |

PSApril21 King of the walkby tnunComment: I am not a huge b&w fan but the b&w really works for this, I like the way the dog is looking at the camera, also the shadow of the trees in the background and the pole framing the right hand side. I think I'd have tried to get the sign out of the background but thats only very minor |

Day 1 P&S by MelonMusketeerComment: Thats great, I always hate using the flash on the p&s or the SLR as I never seem to get it right! My only slight issue is I am drawn to the stem slightly more than the center of the flower |
