PSApril21 King of the walkby tnunComment: I am not a huge b&w fan but the b&w really works for this, I like the way the dog is looking at the camera, also the shadow of the trees in the background and the pole framing the right hand side. I think I'd have tried to get the sign out of the background but thats only very minor |

Day 1 P&S by MelonMusketeerComment: Thats great, I always hate using the flash on the p&s or the SLR as I never seem to get it right! My only slight issue is I am drawn to the stem slightly more than the center of the flower |

what floor sir?by bevilllComment: I don't know if you were going for a grainy shot but if not you can remove a lot of the grain with the despeckle filter |

P&S Day 1 - Roseby JuliBocComment: I really like the texture on the rose petals, only minor thing for me is I find the gaps between the leaves draw my eye slightly, the straight line on the stalk is what does it I think, other than that very nice |

Day 1by tpbremerComment: I like the abstractness of the photo, the usb plug on top gives me a story that you have just disconnected something from your pc ... probably your camera!! The cable in the background is a little off putting though |

Day 1: Nettle-eye Viewby bobonacusComment: Thats what I was going for :) I wanted to make the viewer appear that they were looking out from under the Nettle .... I guess it didn't really have the desired effect, lol |

Drowned Luckby Yo_SpiffComment: When I initially saw the picture I was hovering around the 4/5 mark but upped that to 6 as I liked the concept and it's originality.
I agree with other comments that there it lacks clarity to give it a higher score (IMHO) The yellow bit at the bottom is a little distracting, maybe some burning would bring that down or maybe a tighter crop cutting out most of the yellow thing and the very top leaf ... that would also remove the most oof parts.
The bits floating in the water don't help either, though nothing you can do about that! |
