Like this frame fill and frame, also the subject........the foucs is a bit soft ont he bottom figure and I do not know what all the little spots are but I sure wish they could have been edited away....ahh those rules.

Do like the effect of the backlighting on the main subject....would very much like to see this edited without all the intervening dark flowers that add nothing and are a distraction in this.....ahhh the joys of the DPC rules. Where's my migraine pills. BTW if you do edit this I would like it with the bit of blue and the trees in the upper right corner. 7

The hutch is such a great piece and I really like the colors and textures of it.....think you might have lost the smaller red vase and flowers as it seems lost and in the way causing a distracting shadow on the hat. I like the hat as well. I am a BIG fan of shadows and I like these shadows as shadows but not as part of this image. Losing the red vase and its shadows would also help this. Placing the blue vase flowers closer to the hat and shoting just slightly more to your left might have helped too....The BG color does not work for this, though I realize there may not have been much you could do about that.

nice find and subject....not happy with your choice of cropping and feel the composition suffers because of it. I think the more back ground flat texture you could have shown would add to it.

almost but not quite....the focus appears off to me....I do like the corresponding shape of the shadow to the standing glass....think maybe you might have considered not using the two glasses that on their sides in this....not a fan of the crop but I do like the use of the framing on this as it is not overdone and compliments the colors in the shot.
