Bee Swarmby eostylesComment: Fantastic! Amazing sight, very brave shot too. I know they're generally friendly, but the buzz of a hive is quite intimidating. Quality photo and nice having the close-up too. |

Windrushby ImagineerComment: Thanks guys. This is very much how the original looked. I did smooth some of the colour noise using lab colour > blur channels a+b. |

Aerialsby ImagineerComment: art-inept - this is the way he looked!! He was a skinny fella but my wide angle probably exaggerated his proportions.

Shadow Play by SammieComment: Definitely a shot your Dad would have been proud of - and in my view is one position too low.
Granted, you can't go wrong with this kind of scene, but you've observed & composed it well. The lighting here is key - without the sensation being added later in PP. Lovely. |

This Ole House by kevrobertsonComment: Well done - not much wrong with this other than it's beaten by some digital art.
Edit: don't go too heavy with Neat Image though, you're starting to lose texture & detail. Message edited by author 2005-05-30 05:11:57. |

Foggy Sunriseby EvaanComment: Unusual looking shot. Nice use of glare. There are a few noticeable editing halos but this is a good photo with some nice touches in composition and emotive quality. |

Pardon me? by timboydwhiteComment: Love these little fellas - I bred them once. Had about 50 babies pouncing around trying to eat each other, so I ahd to separate them ASAP! Most survived too and I gave them away to various keepers of odd critters.
Aren't their eyes hypnotic.
Looks like he makes good model too - of course, being very still! |
