Fireman facing the "beast"by spunckenComment: In another challenge this would score highly for the study, composition and evocation. Being picky though, this is not definitively City Life, since the firefighter could be anywhere - but I like this shot muchly. |

Absolute Still by SkipComment: Well there we are - Happy New Year!
Justice is served and another DPC conundrum is now resolved.
For what it's worth: perfect composition, lighting, subject and tangible sense of the title. Love it. I'm beginning to regret my vote of '1'.

Lizardby nephotoComment: Great choice of subject. Day Geckos are wonderful and deserve your attention - which you have done excellently other than a touch too much space to the right and top. More body would make this perfect.
Clear, crisp and delightful. |

Creekby bbrightComment: Very fresh scene - great movement and choice of focus. Nature delivers the wonders as usual - you are but a player briefly on-screen. You are though a quality extra in the stop-motion adaptation. |

Frozen Bubbleby CantiqueComment: Magical close-up. Really great detail and light. No more needed - this is just gratifying to behold. |

Pigeonby cobra2005Comment: Good shot of a much derided commonplace subject. Not much else to say really - other than it's not exactly art but it fits the the challenge! |

Footprintsby MadMan2kComment: Such a small creature too - nice observation. Love the exposure and off-screen mystery. Horizon looks tilted but without doubt a nice shot. Improvements I would imagine could be:
> focus slightly further away to give both fore- and background blurring
> straighten horizon
> focus even closer (losing some sky) to show scale more dramatically |

Fragilityby dinodeano89Comment: Well, this is an adorable subect and actually a perfectly good photo technically too. Good lighting and colour range - and that little 'fuzz junction' (bit between the nose and mouth) needs lots of rubbing with the tip of a finger! |
