Poseidon Sleepsby e301Comment: Love the scene here. This would be near perfect had you achieved hyperfocus by focussing 2/3 of the way back into your shot with f16 or there abouts. This would have allowed your background to be crisply in focus too. You may of course know this but couldn't bear not to submit this lovely shot despite it! Who knows?...
Very well composed and a beautiful time of day. |

Protected by Giantsby tonyvComment: Witha beautiful, evocative subject like this you simply can't go wrong. He's adorable and you've used a long lens well here. Nice DOF and I like the cropping of the elders - fits the title and willo pluck at the heart strings. Aren't elephants just wonderful.

Sunrise Moonsetby BaldurTComment: This is a remarkable shot - so you're early rise has paid off Royally. Very unusual scene with those dark clouds - good comp too. Love it.

Realm of the Deerby AlexSaberiComment: Stunningly warm capture. I'd have been happy with just the woodland!
Well caught and composed [but why the validation note??]. |

Oppositeby Joey LawrenceComment: Great angle, comp and detail. I would have liked this more if she wasn't smiling. Your subject and treatment infers some unease, but she looks just so happy and sweet! |

Ilulissat Fiord, Greenlandby pekeloComment: Wow, so that's what it looks like from the ground! Beautiful. The ice on the right reallly looks like the ice visible from 38,000 ft...
Love the birds and the eerily gloomy light. I'd love to know what you were doing there. |
