Love the scene here. This would be near perfect had you achieved hyperfocus by focussing 2/3 of the way back into your shot with f16 or there abouts. This would have allowed your background to be crisply in focus too. You may of course know this but couldn't bear not to submit this lovely shot despite it! Who knows?...

Witha beautiful, evocative subject like this you simply can't go wrong. He's adorable and you've used a long lens well here. Nice DOF and I like the cropping of the elders - fits the title and willo pluck at the heart strings. Aren't elephants just wonderful.
