Leading the Packby RiderGalComment: Despite the blurring (possibly because of low light) this shot captures what is necessary - the competitive spirit of hockey. The key elements are sharp and crisp with good expressions of determination on the faces, good composition and interesting DOF. This deserves to do well. |

Like Mikeby crabappl3Comment: This is a lovely capture. My only comment is that it's a shame it wasn't a second or two later, as the shadow of the ball is exactly behind the subject's head. The lighting is so good that the ball's shadow would have wrapped the shot up, in my opinion anyway. Nice stuff. |
