Taking overby ccjpComment: Great contrast of environments, nice angle and lovely colours. Very intriguing structure too.
One thing I'd take note of is hyperfocal length (it's been in the forums - here's a good link: //www.vividlight.com/articles/2314.htm). It would ensure that the distant subject is totally crisp (which this isn't quite) as well as your foreground. Not a fatal flaw though - good work. [7] |

afternoon reflections by tp-fcpComment: Which colour ribbon do you prefer?
What a classy shot. Rich subject matter, crisp lighting, beautiful colours - it's got the lot. Good luck in the top three! ;) [10] |

Panther Statiumby jbolingComment: Great capture. Could have lifted the colours a bit with levels or curves though. Very nice use of space too. [8] |

spiderby nbortonComment: This shot has the makings of a great one. It could do with a bit more light on the subject though.
Try picking up the detail on the spider's back and head using a mirror or shiny surface to bounce light back. |

Crowby ScottKComment: Great capture but a bit over-sharpened. |

Time To Flyby RemieComment: I think this would be more striking in mono - it would be more atmospheric. The sky is 'too blue' and the birds are not detailed or interesting enough. |

Going Home by ToddhComment: Top gull shot. Nice DOF (lost the busy background) but although the sunlight is nice it lacks context, so I wonder if this may be better in mono? |

Omenby BobsterLobsterComment: Unusual take on challenge - like this. They almost look like bats with their positions. Sky is noisy but it kind of adds to the vibe. (Omen II is the best - and I met Damien's actor once!) |
