Progression by zeuszenComment: Exsquisite shot. I love the composition and the vibe created by the [early morning?] mist and low sunlight. The stillness and calm belies the activity within the sprawl over yonder.
I actually believe that I'm looking at the 'perfect photograph' - nothing to criticise at all! I'd be delighted if this shot wins the blue. It certainly wins mine. [10,10,10!] |

I Love New York...by tolyanchikComment: Nice view, but perhaps a bit too harshly cropped at the bottom. I think you should have lost the people or included more of them. |

DUCK!by solarysComment: Nice, unusual glimpse of what looks like an ordinary urban environment. OK, it's not your 'perfect' shot but it's one that grabbed my attention. It almost makes me want to see what the undistorted view was like.
Since there is no camera reflection I assume this was looking ot through some glass? Nice idea - bet it doesn't score well but good luck anyway. [7] |

A Farmer's New Cash Cropby mcraelComment: Nope. This does not meet the challenge. [1]
Just kidding. What colour ribbon do you like? This is superb. Great vantage point, good lighting and excellent feeling of urbania/suburbia. A little lacking contrast in shaded areas and image is slightly too muted - even for the subject! Smudgy blob is a bit annoying. [8] |

16th & Chestnut Stsby gakoutComment: Nope. Doesn't meet the challenge. [1]
Just kidding. Very moody - great steam and environmental ambience. The lighting is superb and I don't think you can get more urban than this. Perhaps lacking a little detail/contrast in shaded areas, but I love it. [9] |

The house of Godby oskarComment: Striking shapes and colour. A bit non-urban but it's good. Lights are overexposed and contrast is somewhat harsh too. |

Fearless by chakkobboComment: A simply awesome shot! What incredible luck, but great skill to get the shot just right with such tangible sensation of scale in the composition.
I seriously want to slap anyone who rated this 5 or below. The person who voted this 1 should get their coat, back their bags and check out of life! ;) |

Casino Driveby sfarrell23Comment: Not quite interesting enough for me. Some of the focal interest has been lost with the high crop and the sky isn't the feature here. Shot is a bit tilted clockwise too.
Beautiful lighting - you chose the right time of day. |

The Coastby ZoomdakComment: ... Metaphorically speaking I assume! Very atmospheric, and the thumbnail almost looks like a building poking out of a hazy city. Lovely shot. [7] |
