I think the colour treatment here is almost too indistinct, with the stone building being of a subdued colour anyway. What was the purpose?

As symbolism this isn't strong enough for me, but it's a good, competent shot, well lit but just a bit dull really. Had this been in a dinner situation with people socialsing and benefiting from it then it would be more potent I feel.

The shot is OK with some soft, mellow lighting - a nice, natural portrait.

This is a very festive scene with an interesting viewpoint. Title does nothing for me but the image is lovely with some nice focus although that light is just slightly too overexposed.

Despite being skewed clockwise this is a pleasant home in a lovely environment - so I understand the sentiment and it fits the challenge. Not much else of interest though.

Lighting on the house is quite flat, so maybe switching some lights on inside would have made it look more welcoming - even waiting until it got a bit darker perhaps.

Makes me keen to get on my snowboard though! ;)

This fits the challenge but it's a bit dull, colourless and the lighting is very flat and uneasy on the eye. It's basically a snap shot with a positive sentiment.
