I love the moon and you've done well here. I would have desaturated the blue/cyan in your image though as the halo around it is distracting. You could have made it mono too.

This shot relies too heavily on a material shape rather than generating intrigue through the photograph itself.

What I mean is - it's dull because everything is just there right in front of you. No angles, lighting, focus or creativity using the medium. I'm very sorry to sound negative but if you look at the others out there they're generating interest from unusual vantage points and a considered composition. Don't get discourage though - just learn from the masters! ;)

Well chosen subject and nicely taken shot. A striking form indeed. I would perhaps have allowed either more space to the right or cropped out the background altogether, which would redirect focus even more onto the shapes created.
