Like this and I don't care why. A refreshing change to the quest for prefection perhaps.

I've shot a few of these cuties this Spring but none so perfect as this! Not creative or unusual, but special in its own satisfyingly detailed way.

An intriguing image but a little sterile and 'stock' in its appearance. Well edited mind.

Yes, I like this. Looks like an e301 to me. The comp is a tad too centrally split for me, and I'd have loved a longer view of this bloke (still with lots of space which may not have been possible) but it's strong.

Were it not for the super-smoothing this would be a very good portrait. As it is it's still nice but you've lost all sense of photography through the use of a silky filter. Grain is sometimes good and adds to the atmosphere and sense of realism.

This is why I loathe the expert editiing rule, because photography involves respect for the moment as well as the result ΓΆ€“ and it's easy to be fooled. If this is a single capture I would rate this a 10 for beauty of composition, texture, dynamism and interest. If it's a comp then considerably less because it's just so pointless otherwise.

I see no evidence of comping so I'll go for the top marks. Beautiful (and I hope I'm not being made to feel stoopid!).

A truly great capture - you must have been thrilled. As journalism goes this ticks lots of boxes and as a landscape it's very intriguing. A superb and memorable lightning shot.
