Centred composition and lack of interest makes this a bit dull - despite the impending event of blooming. The light areas in bg are distracting and push forward in the shot. |

Image is not very engaging due to the lack of a clear focal point. That's to say that I don;t know what your purpose is with this one. |

Nice sky - but subject is not very engaging. You can avid the halos around contrasting edges by converting image to Lab colour and simply applying a sharpen to the Lighten channel. |
