Octoberby scalvertComment: Certainly a pretty scene, although I'm getting that NeatImage feeling again! It is a heavily effected photo which draws my attention away from the subject and back to the processing.
However, as a calendar it would work but in my view it would position the calendar further down-market due to the digital assistance in the shot. |

September by moodvilleComment: Well you know - there are landscapes, and then there are LANDSCAPES! And this is a beauty. I often find it tough to vote on shots of wonderful scenes unless I can see some creative input in the shot itself.
Here, I see excellenece in every respect - the POV, time of day, DOF, choice of lens, exposure and processing. I love it and it deserves to grace a well printed calendar. You will surely ribbon with this one. |

Novemberby jjbeguinComment: I'm sure this has been heavily edited - but it's very well done (for a change). Those pools of light are dramatic and nicely picked up. I think you've dodged too far in the clouds though and a touch more pick-up on the foreground would be good. |

Midnight Stormby sharveyComment: Agree with the comment below. I'd love to see some of those people try to catch lightning in a well composed, dramtic way such as this. Twats. : ) |

Absolute Regretby SkipComment: That is just great. You really made a real error there (I assume) :/
Very nicely observed and what a lovely time of day. |

Fort Sill, original (unedited)by postoakinversionComment: Unedited - are you sure?
I can clearly see a graduated mask where it'appears' to be burned. If not then I eat my words, hat, head and everything, because the lighting cast on the ground in this scene looks impossible given the low, ominous gloom of the sky. |

Image critique: this is just dazzlingly great! I love it the sheer heat from this is tangible with so much detail. Ribbon for sure.
