Leaning with the Authorby Phoenix-5Comment: One day you'll learn that there's an 'r' in Learning!

Nice little shot (lady must be Jamie Lee Curtis, surely?) but girl looks a bit distracted and shot is quite busy. Not sure how 'book smart' this feels though. |

He Knew Too Much by BoriegaComment: I'd been hoping to find something in this challenge to keep me awake and your little ditty did the job. Like it. Amazing to spot a dead person in a skip full of books like that. Amazing. |

On the roadby OdedComment: Looks like someone got really riled with their book just moments before him and shredded it!
Great viewpoint and captures the obsessive fanaticism of religion perfectly. Is he texting God with the other hand I wonder? |

life's a stageby yankoComment: There's something of Giger in this - which is a massive compliment. I like this subdued photo very much. |

Strange New Worldby KarenNfldComment: Very nice view of interesting material (bubble liquid/detergent?). The line bottom right and the dark mass at the top are quite distracting. |

bby tcmartinComment: Pretty DOF and lovely clarity. Like the compsotion too. Bee is a little indistinct near the head (due to shadow) which is a shame. |

Curvaceousby slickchikComment: Deliciously subject - so tactile to observe and fascinating too. Like the colours and shapes. |

French Kissby labudsComment: A stunningly clear macro of a gruesome scene.
It wouldn't be so bad if this was the wild but it's not. It's a man-made death and it's painful and unpleasant for the victim (unless killed humanely prior to feed which, due to blood looks like it hasn't been.). You'll probably get marked down for that compassion factor, but I'll overlook it because this is a tecchnically well shot photo.
Incidentally, I've kept snakes and pythons for many years and have always weaned them onto humanely killed, frozen food. It's illegal to feed live now in the UK. |
