I do actually often relfect on junk, thinking that each tiny rivet and strand of steel was once made for a purpose, possibly by hand, and finally - this is where it ends up. Quite sad really. I like the tone and colour in this shot as well as the textures. It won't win awards necessarily, but it's well shot.

Well, I take it you didn't heed the 'tread carefully' advice then! Weird and humourous approach, but I do think he looks like he's diving in than resisting the inevitable (unless I'm missing something?).

Nice twist on the challenge. Good comp, but I think hyperfocus would have worked better here. Nice 'rhythm' in the shot thru repetition.

While this does suffer from some overhsharpening, it's a great study of boredom spawned from apparent hardship or poverty. Very well composed shot.

Composition of sky and sea is good, but the main subject seems to be the gulls, although they are too far away and softly focused to be a key factor in the shot. The sun is also centred which does 'anaesthetise' the comp somewhat. Image is overexposed a little so metering on the sky would help to reduce glare and blown highlights. A polariser would really help here adding definition and richness of tone to the sky.
