You could move in some oversized furniture and stand by it making yourself a giant.

Very nice shot, love the "pop" of the colors and the desat of everything else.

So, I'm trying to picture this, you set the camera, grab the umbrella, run across the bridge, hoist the thing up, slow down to a stroll and try not look like you're panting as you take a step, hoping against all odds that you're still in focus and the camera hasn't gone off yet? All while some old people drive by saying "Who is that young whipper snapper out yonder doing wind sprints on the bridge with a funky blue umbrella?" :-)
