3208Honkermistakes.jpgby mgsmith53Comment: really not sure what to say on this, amazing motion blur, but the candian goose behind kinda looks like he has a bandage on his ody. there needs to bee a bit more contrast in this and a crop that chops off the bottom and top a little |

Holdby VivaLaAlexanderComment: your other one is in voting right now. for this one, i would make it bigger for a start, and flip it so the stones point upwards, it would give it more interest |

Thin Iceby David EyComment: the only thing i get from this shot is that you moved the camera. nothing interesting about this shot whatsoever.
if you are trying to go for drama, then i would suggest a longer exposer with a black piece of board, then have the sign going down adn down and down, now that would make it appear as though something was falling. Apart from that , nothing really I can think of would help or hinder this shot |

moody swampby bergiekatComment: I like it, i think you could have done a little bit more with teh shadows in the background to give it some depth. right now it is just a blank wall. Just at the bottom of the water with darkness raising up to blur into the landscape, give it a feeling of never ending ending less. you could make this as moody as you want and it still wouldnt be overkill. my fav out of everyones so far |

The Industrial Revolution Continuesby David EyComment: well not a lot you can say about this really, once you have got past the wow factor it is all sort of plastic looking. I think you could have done so much more with contrasts and shadows and highlights, even adding a tiny tiny bit of grain would have giving it some realistic feeling. I bet you could have blown peoples socks off with this if it had been advanved and could have dodged and burnt those back panels. |

Open Cut Coal Miningby BarbBComment: Bloody hell your camera is good, it makes writing!! LOL, I needed that chuckle. (thats the drugs talking)
It is very small and thin, so thin that i can hardly see any details of those monstrous trucks that mine the open pits. the sky is overall processed IMO, i really want to drag my laptop closer to me so i can see the details of those sands and boulders, the peaks I know are huge as we have open mining here. THis shot does not show just how HUGE and DEEP this type of mining is.
The blues seem really blue though,

Ghost-Dancerby GeneralEComment: well it is either two of the ugliest out of focus people attempting to have a snog (English for French kiss)(but with maybe more slobber) or a stick. I am hoping for the two ugly people cos the stick option would be a worse choice.
even teh original is out of focus and kinda looks like a reindeer standing up.
Go for the two people, more interesting concept, Art Nuvo thingy going on with it that way. Add some sutble plae pinks and you could also sell this for several zeros Message edited by author 2009-07-23 20:31:58. |

Up, up and awayby BJokerudComment: well it is not bad for a chair that is floating in mid air. not something you see every day now is it. arr I thought it was basic but it wasnt, so maybe getting rid of that annoying cloud that distracts. I think a closer crop to the chair so it was a bit bigger would have helped adn a little lightening of the white underside of the chair would have given it some punch. it is a good chair flying, but maybe having a bright red balloon on teh back of the chair would have giving it a reason to be flying in the air, cos it aint something you come across every day. |
