The subject has to compete too much with the trail... Most folks don't like centered compositions around here... so cropping this on the left side and the trail off the bottom would make this a better composition, I think. Unfortunately, I don't think the image quality could stand the crop. A closer up photo would have been better, IMO.

This is a good image, Penny. I think the lower score is due to the processing. Some of the shadows could have been lightened even in Basic. (Shadow/Highlight is what I would use, but you could use Curves or Exposure)

I can hear all of the sounds of the fun scene.

I fear that this isn't sharp enough to score really well. And it seems a bit tilted to the left to me. Some will probaly not like the sun centered like that... Perhaps at one of the thirds would have been better?
