What a beautiful lamp! And beautifully photographed! The thing that bothers me, though, is the light spot on the left... the light on the wall. It detracts me from the lamp... I know it's Basic Editing and you can't edit it, so I wish you had cropped it out, or moved the lamp a bit more into the frame. You did really well controlling the light... it's beautiful. (not voting)

Roses are red

If this weren't a lamp challenge, this would not make sense to me... As it is, I find myself wanting the subject to be the roses, because they're pretty and the red catches my eye... but that huge round thing overwhelms them.

I think that challenge entries have to stand on their own without the challenge... and if someone asked me what this was, I'd say it's roses... on a weird round thing.

I'm not trying to be cruel... quite the opposite, in fact. But, I can't find any other way to explain my thoughts. (not voting)
