This image isn't a great fit for 'old ways'. Building a snowman with my toddler kinda reminded me of my childhood, but it was still marginally appropriate at best.

I liked the image. And it was what I was after when I set up the shot. The flash and framing (little or no cropping) created a bold image. So I decided to enter it even though it wasn't a great fit for the challenge.

Here in the Pacific Northwest it is not uncommon to have snowfall and a quick thaw. The lack of snow on my front yard was also a result of having used up much of it from the building of the snowman.

My eye is drawn toward the hole in the roof (which is away from the interesting parts of the building). I would have liked to see more vivid ceiling colors.
