Cool Dudeby BKerrComment: Cool but boring dude. Surely he must have had a more interesting expression or pose at some point? |

Icelandic Rapperby BBirgissonComment: The eyes shut doesn't really work for me, the right hand finger is too near the edge of the frame and the microphone obstructs too much of his face... I'd have gone much more to the side. It's very rare that good results are obtained with direct flash. I want to see a photo of this guy interact with his audience rather than in his own world with his eyes shut. |

Sayonara Tokyoby fauxrealComment: Very odd effect... is this smoke, or a reflection through glass? I'm not really sure it works here. |

Big Jump!by helgiiComment: You've caught a nice moment, but the background is way too cluttered. Tough shooting conditions for gig photography though... direct sunlight, ouch! It's the other performer on the left that spoils the shot... the eye is led out of the frame and the chopped off guitar neck doesn't work too well. |

What a World It Would Beby CutterComment: Great candid, I love his expression. Shame it's a little overexposed. I also think it could do with more shadow tones. |

Born To Boogieby TommyMoe21Comment: Not at all keen on the skin tones which are far too red, I'd have attempted some colour balancing in PS. If you're going to have hands in a shot of a musician, don't chop the fingers off. Trumpeter's expression doesn't seem particularly special here... wait for a moment of chemistry when he emotes during a special passage during the music. It's unimaginative and easy to crop so close... I want to see a sense of context... where is he playing, where is he? |

Fiddler On The Ropeby browntComment: Shame about the 3 heads in the foreground. Harsh sun really spoils the shot, especially as the audience are looking into it. Why centre your performer? This seems unimaginative. The head is too near the top edge of the shot. Very impressive acrobatics though, I can't imagine being able to do that... does he keep the rhythm of his violin playing steady? |

Brazilian singerby maxlevayComment: Typical concert snapshot, although you did try and get a moment where the audience had their hands in the air. It's difficult to make out here though, the silhouettes aren't clear enough. Photo is slightly tilted and could have done with straightening. Composition is my main gripe here... the performer is looking to the right of the frame... I would therefore have placed them on the left of the shot otherwise the left 2/3rds of the shot feels pointless. |
