I don't think you've caught him at a good moment during this set... his eyes look unbelievably tired and I don't think it's particularly flattering. I bet he looked better when he was singing.

I think this would have worked better if he was much tighter against the right edge of the frame. It just seems to centred here which comes across as unimaginative. A nice moment with an effective expression. Some good colours. A shame about the noise levels and lack of clarity, although you've certainly made a good effort at getting sharpness in PP!

I really don't like that the microphone is obstructing part of the performer's eye. Just a couple of steps to your right, and you could have got rid of the microphone altogether. Focus should ALWAYS be on the eyes, not the microphone as here.

Prefer this over the other one I've seen so far, great viewpoint. Good dof. Just wish he had a more dynamic expression and was doing something with his right arm.

Nice candid. I'd have liked the back of the chair nearer the side of the frame, so that the box with his money wasn't chopped off. The diagonal line running from bottom-left to top-right helps to make a very effective composition.

Very strange filtered effect, as if some of the levels have been inverted in curves. I'm not fond of the effect. I think it's a copout from the spirit of the challenge not to actually include any musicians.

Very strange expression on performer's face. I'm missing his right hand... I think the hands on sax players are important. Onboard flash has given very unflattering shadows which make shot look like a snapshot. Background looks awful. Very noisy, surely with flash a lower ISO could have been used?

If I was playing this piano concerto, I would tell the photographer to get the hell away from the piano. Sorry, but I see this as a live music challenge and this isn't live.

If this was live music, a camera up the flautists nose would surely have bothered them? Would be an interesting studio shot if something was in focus.
