Webmasterby valasaurusComment: Stretching the challenge a bit. Interesting macro otherwise, but a bit of an uninspiring composition... too centred for me. Also, I might have considered rotating it so the spider is looking up, or sideways... down doesn't work for me. 3 |

The Knifeby neatizzyComment: Orange cast casued by poor whitebalance, picture blurry! Not very inspired composition. I'd have tried different lighting and perhaps a macro of the knife with a strip of meat. 3 |

Grandpa's Toolsby CRblondie1102Comment: Not very good lighting, poor choice of surface, very noisy picture. Try experimenting with different lighting, different angles, and a different background. 3 |

Untitledby JBosieComment: Interesting shot, but hard to see what tool is involved, or what it's role is. |

King Dickby haydnComment: What a great name! An amusing entry for 'tools' , well taken. Good dof, lighting has been handled well. Effective composition. 8 |

Multi Purpose Toolby JackoComment: Simple and effective. Background works well, nice composition. Good lighting. Doesn't emotionally do a lot for me though. 8 |

Craftsmanby yoshiComment: Effective, moody shot. Composition works well, although I'd have liked a little more imagination. Great lighting, the textures have been captured very well. Nicely done background. 8 |

Tools for lifeby Girl from OZComment: I like this one, nice and simple. Most of the tools entries are quite lifeless, and I like the way you show here that tools can be used to create and nurture life. Great background, apart from the dirt near the bottom of the frame (the specks, not the pile). The photo in general could do with a lot more sharpening. 8 |
