Excellent shot, great use of light and shadow. The light around her eyes is particularly effective. However, this seems too much like a conventional portrait to be in a macro challenge. 8

Excellent capture of the wasp in flight looking at the bottle top. Although I think this is a cleverly carried out shot, the colours and composition let this picture down for me. I wish the background was more effective, and the bottle wasn't so centred. Shame about the glare on the bottle. 8

I Think I'm Lost

Great photo, most people seem to struggle with catching too much glare off these things (I haven't had the opportunity to try!), and you've caught it perfectly.
The lost feeling comes I think from the fact that you're exploiting the top-right to bottom-left diagonal which goes against the diagonal people are most used to seeing in a composition. This works well for you here, although I think you might have come up with a better title! Some great colours and textures here, but it's a shame his antennae is pointing out of the frame. 9

Superb picture. You've definitely got into the spirit of this challenge! This shot reflects the obsessive quality someone can have when they're clock-watching. Perhaps like waiting for 5:00 for a 9-5 job, or the end of a lesson for a kid. And the slowing down that happens as you get more impatient, until it doesn't move at all like viewing this picture. The green hue works nicely. However, I still feel it's missing something I can't quite put my finger on... maybe the use of another texture somewhere? 9
