Speedy Girlsby dirtkahunaComment: Great motion blur, well panned. Shame the background is too distracting though, especially the horizontal bar 1/3 way down the frame. |

Friday Nightby choklat_thundrComment: Interesting shot, well composed. This would really work for me without the orange noise on the left hand side of the frame. The lights on the horizon would work better without the ones in the middle that intersect with your subjects' heads. This makes the shot look like an accident. |

Faster, Harderby MWittComment: Good panning, I think a few things could have improved this...
Flip the picture so he's cycling from left to right
Slower shutter speed to blur the background more.
A clear background that doesn't blend with or distract from his face.
A more inspired background in general.
I like the fact that you've left negative space for him to move into in this shot. |

Baseball in Flightby ColeyComment: Impressive sharpness. Very eyecatching shot. The motion blur seems to be independent of the ball, as it is a slightly different size, and seems to carry on after the ball. I'm assuming this is due to use of a flash with a panning technique that didn't match the speed of the ball. |

Destination Unknownby qmdiComment: Fantastic composition... I don't know if it was intentional, but I like the burnt out highlights which contrast nicely with the subject's face. I'd have liked the background much more sharp though. This is just blurry enough to look unintentional. I like the fact that the subject is almost out of the frame. The sloping horizon works well. |

Takin' Another Hit in the Sponge Tossby kirbicComment: An interesting idea, great expression. I think the shot could have been made more dramatic in several ways: Maybe a longer shutter speed would have helped, but my choice of shot would have been a long shutter speed to show the motion trail of the sponge including the moment where it hits his face which could have been caught with a flash. |

Thunder Jetby MickComment: Good panning technique, nice and sharp. The composition doesn't do much for me though, I think more negative space is needed... maybe for the boat to enter into. The colours seem a little flat. |

Timber Wolfby Dim7Comment: Interesting application of motion blur. Great subject, it's a shame he doesn't stand out against the background too well. His rear legs look a little awkward in this shot. I'd have liked a lot of negative space for him to walk into. The main focus here should be his eyes, and they are too much to the side of the frame for this to feel comfortable. |

Coloursby trainComment: Apart from the fact this is out of focus, I don't see any motion blur. 1 |
