Gold Fish Pondby shareinncComment: I love this shot, with the day-glo fish hanging in the center. It's clearly an outdoor shot, so you likely couldn't do much about the lighting, but a side-light source off to the left would haev improved the focus on the fish, I think. |

All Colorsby ChuckieComment: Hrm. A good choice of subject, but the lighting's kind of diminished. Maybe a little gamma-correction in the computer (or a desk/floor lamp directed up at it while being shot) would have made it more emphatic.
Also, the pixelation really isn't helping. |

Phloxby GordonComment: I find the severely out-of-focus flowers in the front to be distracting. They're big enough to draw the eye away from the main subject, and yet disturbingly unfocussed. A deeper dof might have brought them into focus, or a different crop made them less central? |
