This road, as shot, looks disturbingly like an esophagus. Which isn't necessarily a *bad* thing .. great lighting, contrasts, angle. Like it a lot. 9.

Appealing subject and pose; good lighting. Keeping this shot an 8 and not a 10, though, is the focus, which is kind of all over the place. The dog's nose, the flower, the sign, the bricks, or SOMETHING other than the stairs behind the dog need to be in crisp focus to draw the eye. :->

Nice composition, good idea and angle ... but the contrast between foreground (signs) and background (building) is not amazingly apparent, causing Madison to kind of fade away.

Endearing subject, well lit and posed ... but he's too blurry. If you couldn't get the focus, you could at least make the shot a little smaller to help sharpen it up.

Hrm. It's a very, very pretty photograph, but if it's doing that with the smoke it's *not* making sound. :-> I can't 'hear' the picture, so I have to grade it down, despite the lickable beauty of the shot. 6.
