bootsby dhessComment: You should use the full 640 pixels that the challenge allows for image size. There may also be some excessive compression used that is taking away some detail and clarity. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one) |

At The 19th Holeby GeneralEComment: I like the perspective, though it seems like it may need a little noise reduction on the background. Somehow, the composition leads my eye to that background, so the graininess was the first thing I noticed. |

A little diplomacy goes a long way. Mr. Gariety should learn some.
Looks good, Marc, your edits to it really did well. A mid 5 for a freestudy is a darn good showing in my book. The hair IS wild, but that's high fashion and is what makes this shot Stand out. |

Mallard ducksby WoodwardComment: Originally posted by ColemanGariety: On this site we prefer to rate things on effort, not content. |
Just because a member does not care for this, it is not fair to presume it lacked effort. I also disagree with the statement in general. The end result is what wins on this site, and is what matters in the real world. I can point out many high scoring photos that took minimal effort and many low scoring entries that took a lot of work, but did not come off with broad appeal. The point is to interpret the feedback and then decide for yourself if your entry was really lacking, or if you hit the intended target audience with it. |

Should I wear them or eat them?by VidomaticComment: An interesting view of someinteresting boots, but the shot is a little flat. I popped it into my photo editor to see and found some levels, curves, saturation and contrast really made this pop off the screen. |

Chain Driveby ConnorComment: Toe clips? That's kinda like still using film. Possibly more convenient for mountain biking, however. |

Spam Fansby GeneralEComment: Ouch. I was wondering how you did this, because it looked a little artificial. I thought the dancers were real and the Spam fans may have been the artificial part. This was not Kosher Spam, apparently. |
