Sailing into the Sunsetby darnokComment: My favorite part of this scene is the silhouetted tanker on the horizon. I almost missed it however, because you made the fiery sky into the star of the show. |

ssssliderby cutoutComment: Very nice abstract work. Looking forward to finding out how you did this under basic rules. |

Just Looked Upby WickedSoundComment: I'm tempted to respond to your title by saying I just looked down... at the 5 key. But I won't, because I actually like this, strangely enough. |

Ghostly Skaterby dustingoodingComment: Clearly an intentional effort, but the busy background has nothing to do with the skateboarder and makes it come off like a snapshot. The subject is almost lost in it. If you could have gotten this same shot from another perspective, it could be very effective. |

Midnight Traffic Rushby coder68Comment: Just on the off chance that nobody else has left an explanatory comment to accompany their low vote, I will. Hope this helps.
-The image is pretty soft, could use sharpening.
-Colors are washed out, some levels and curves adjustments could help that.
-There is an afterimage that looks like a partial reflection, but it is not obvious enough for me to take it as an intentional part of the composition.
-You should use the entire 640 pixels available on at least one side. You get maximum detail into the image that way.
-Watch the JPEG compression as well, you have up to 150k to use and the less compression you use the clearer your image will be. |

283by thomaspeopleComment: In this case the blown highlight work for the image. Not sure all will appreciate how you did it, however. |
