Leading Lines, Rule of Thirds, Tilted Angleby MichaelCComment: This could be debated as to whether it fits rule of thirds or not. Although the moon is in the ROT area, I find the composition of the bridge to be centered, and my eye is led to the man above the central beam. There's also a bit of blotchiness in the sky that some careful selective editing could help with. OK, nitpicking session is over. I do like this shot. It has some strong visual impact for me. |

Deep DOF, Rule of Thirds, Tilted Angleby ErikVComment: Wonderful fall colors. I don't feel the tilt is appropriate for this scene. It does not seem to add anything to it. That's just a personal preference thing, however, and not really a flaw. Otherwise, this is a nicely done scene. |

Deep DOF Low Key Portraitby MAKComment: The blurred background looks like shallow depth of field to me. Calling it rule of thirds instead would have worked for me, as that is where his eyes are. Other than that, this is a great portrait. I hope to eventually get this good with lighting. |
